Verspieren is an eponymous family-owned company and today the largest independently owned broking firm in the French market. This independence constitutes an asset for our clients.

Throughout the years Verspieren has gradually diversified its activities to cover all spheres of its business – insurance, reinsurance and wholesale broking. The company's development is centred on three growth levers: its commercial teams, the acquisition of specialised operations , and the creation of business entities characterised by an innovative approach to their profession. This strategy has enabled the Group to triple its turnover during the last ten years. This impressive, but controlled, growth has been achieved without compromising the quality of the relationship with our clients. Indeed, our organization, which is both reactive and closely in touch with the market realities, has remained human in scale.

Since October 2007, Verspieren has opened a new page of its history: the relay baton has been passed from the fourth to the fifth generation of the Verspieren family. Responsibilities are now distributed amongst a younger decision-taking management Board of Directors team able to face new challenges. At the same time, the active involvement of the previous generation within the Supervisory Board confirms the shareholders' attachment to the Verspieren Group's values of independence and of responsible family management.

Whilst remaining faithful to its founding values, it is the Group's continued wish to pursue dynamic expansion. Innovation is indeed the driving force of our development and of our success.
